I haven't written any story about the COVID 19 virus pandemic for over 48 hours now, just because I have a lot on my mind that worries me. Today, I'm going to share some of my worries.

For the past few days, I deliberated and focused on Nigeria and it's countless problems in handling the fight against the spread of the COVID 19 Virus. However, I'm so tired of how the Government wastes precious time in dealing with positive cases. I'm tired how the lockdown regulations are not been followed, how politicians are seizing the opportunity to loot the funds donated by few philanthropists we have in the country and how the Government of Nigeria keeps the COVID 19 confirmed cases as classified information, as citizens fears that cases may have risen to a million.

Dealing with Nigeria as a country having over a population of over 206 million people, with 80-85% of its populace living under the poverty line of $2 per day, as far as I'm concerned, the issue of Coronavirus is much more of a comedy and not epidemic. majority of Nigerian citizens don't even believe such a Virus exists, as report on cases continues to increase daily by 10-15%.

The World In Focus.

The first case of the COVID 19 virus was first reported in Wuhan, in the central Hubei province of China. After then, several hundreds of cases were followed, and it was reported most of these cases were from people who worked at the city's Huanan seafood wholesale market.

Two days later, on the 3rd of January 2020, the United States struck and killed Qassem Soleimani; the head of the Iranian elite Quds force and Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis, who is also the deputy commander of Iran-backed Militia. That same day, Iran's UN ambassador; Majid Takht, in his own words proclaimed "the response for a Military action is a Military action", a statement that open doors for actions that can be tantamount to war!

Now, we all know China is among the top three countries supplying Military hardware to Iran, and amidst the protracted conflict between Iran and United States, China has continued to partner with Iran in boosting and protecting it's economy, after trade sanctions was earlier imposed by Washington.

I know many may think these are mere coincidence, but the use of chemical weapon in the past year's may proof otherwise.

If we continue to say these occurrences are mere coincidence, what about the U.S versus China battle for the world's biggest economy? Another question to ask is; why President Xi's government continues to accuse Trump of bringing the Virus into China in order to cripple its economy. Same kind of accusations Trump has been lamenting on the fact that Beijing did concealed the outbreak first detected in Wuhan, which has become a pandemic that's now paralyzing the United States.

Another thing that baffles me most is; why will President Trump in the first place, would offer help to Iran in regards to fighting the COVID 19, with no strings attached??? Why Iran? If these has nothing to do with international conflict, why are the so called "World powers" associated with the highest fatality rate of the COVID 19 virus?

An immediate response to U.S offer in aiding Iran in fighting the Coronavirus was aired in a televised speech by Iran's supreme leader; Ayatollah Ali Khamenei:

"It is strange the United States has offered to help us fight the pandemic, a country that faces shortages in health supplies and workers. You could be giving medicines to Iran that spreads the virus or cause it to remain permanent. Our number one enemy is America, it is the most wicked sinister enemy of Iran".

There had been other comments and replies from top Iranian officials accusing Trump of trying to infiltrate with Iran's medical health systems, just like a popular tweet from an Iranian on social media which says;

 "beware of Trump using the Coronavirus as a cover for War with Iran". 

If all these is true, what kind of maniac will risk such a war in the middle of a global pandemic?

The COVID 19 has revealed the weakness of so many European countries. Although few Countries like Russia and Germany have proven their strengths in such crisis while Italy can only hope on more medicines and health product supplies coming from China and Russia at the moment.

Instead of confronting the Coronavirus directly, the government of Israel is rather spying on citizens that have tested positive to the COVID 19 virus. 

In correlation to the struggle in containing the Coronavirus to a fight against terrorism, health experts and scientists in Israel has advised Prime Minister; Benjamin Netanyahu to deploy " digital" techniques used in the fight against terror. The prime minister further noted in his statements; 

"it is difficult to locate this enemy, because it's stealthy, but we have no choice since we're fighting a war that requires special actions".

In the middle of this devastating crisis, we've seen the unpredicted unfolds. The U.S had no choice than to recieve medical aids from Russia, as they await for a miracle to be performed by the Israelis. Moscow's massive facial recognition system is another factor that has immensely helped the Russians in fighting the spread of the COVID 19 virus, as we may soon see other nations emulate the use of these technologies.

In South Korea, where the spread of the virus had been kept to its utmost minimum level, the government had successfully made use of credit card transactions, phone geo-locations and surveillance footage to give detailed information on Coronavirus patients. This system has helped to map where citizens can see if they were in close proximity to a Coronavirus carrier.

In the case of North Korea, a country that continues to claim of being Coronavirus-free, anonymous sources had it reported that the leader and Dictator; Kim Jong-Un ordered that the first Corona Virus patient in the country be executed. 

But since there's no real proof of such execution, and as we know already that North Korea has strict control over its media, we can't really fortell what actions other nations may emulate in fighting this dreadful weapon that have already maimed over 50,000 people, leaving over a million injured or sick as we speak.
